How we feel about weddings.
We have done many weddings in all sorts of circumstances, with all sorts of couples, from all backgrounds with differing budgets.
The one thing that is the same regardless of Budget is,........ you end up married.
We have found that people are all different, they all want the best day ever but all have priorities on where their budget should be spent. There is plenty to think about. Type of wedding, Venue, Photographer, Entertainment, Dresses, Suits, Rings, cake, food, transport and the rest. When I say the rest, its stuff you like but don't really need.
Firstly, you need to decide what type of venue you want and find one with the dates you want. This is your starting point as you cant book any providers till you have a date.
Secure your photographer and entertainment next. We normally have bookings as far as 3 years ahead. If you are low on budget there are things you can go easy on such as sweet cart and favours. I have been astounded in the past when someone has questioned my fee, yet paid £250 for a sweet cart which keeps 5 kids quiet for a bit but makes them hyper later. As for favours on tables, when I am packing up my rig I always see these favours still on the table getting put in the bin when the staff are clearing up so don't worry too much about these.
The rest is up to you now just remember no one will remember your car, cake or if you had a sparkly dancefloor. They will however, remember if they had a good time.
DJ Stu has been DJing in bars and clubs for over 20 years, this helps keep up to date with the modern trends. He can pick the songs to suit your guests from 8 to 80. If your venue is suitable he will project his music videos on the wall too. all you need to give him is your first dance, any other dances (Father daughter) and a few songs that you both like and your guests will too. If you have a very eclectic taste don't forget, its your wedding day but your friends party so keep their needs in mind too.
Mandy will relax you to a point that you don't feel like its a choir to have the pictures taken. Stu will be about to organise the confetti and group shot to ensure it is done in double quick time. This will allow you to get on with the good stuff as soon as possible. Mandy will come back and get you whilst the room is being turned around to get some of the more romantic shots as the sun is going down. She is also available if you ever feel that it is all getting on top of you and you need a break, just grab Mandy and disappear for 20 minutes to regain yourself. However you want to play it Mandy is so laid back you will find yourselves friends forever not just during your day.

After it is all over and you don't know what to do with all your spare time, now you have no more planning to do. The only thing that will be left of what you have just spent a few grand of your hard earned money on will be the pictures. When you get them from Mandy we always suggest you grab a bottle of Prosecco and go through them together to re live your day. You will see stuff that you didn't even know what went on. You are free to use these images on your social media (Not to re-edit them) and get them printed. If you want any specially printed or framed we can help with this just come back to us at a later date and we can show you what can be done.
